Vineri, 7 februarie 2025, la ora 10:40, pe Autostrada A10, în sensul de mers Aiud-Turda, a avut loc un accident grav între un autoturism și o autoutilitară.

La fața locului, o persoană a rămas încarcerată și a fost nevoie de intervenția echipajelor de descarcerare ale ISU Alba pentru a asigura siguranța și a extrage victima din vehicul.

Conform IPJ Alba, traficul rutier a fost îngreunat în zona accidentului, iar pentru a gestiona situația, au fost solicitate încă și echipajele SMURD. Un elicopter SMURD s-a deplasat rapid la locul evenimentului pentru a acorda sprijin medical.

Echipele de intervenție au reușit să extragă victima din autoturism în jurul orei 11:00, dar cu regret, aceasta se afla în stop cardio-respirator. Echipajele medicale au început imediat manevrele de resuscitare.

UPDATE: După eforturi susținute, echipajele medicale nu au putut revigora victima, iar acesta a fost declarat decesul. Victima, un bărbat de 64 ani, a pierdut lupta cu viața la fața locului.
